Amber reflectors on the front bumpers

Hey Guys,
I actually have an 08 650i (had an 06 530i before that) and have the same type of reflectors as do the new 08 5er's. Those ugly amber reflectors by the wheel well.
I know some have painted them, but I actually was looking to see if anyone makes a clear set? And if not, does anyone know if there are any clear "overlays" that you can put on them.
Any help would be great appreciated!

To be honest I've never heard anyone ask about this before. I can't imagine painting them would produce an acceptable result. I don't know if clear ones are available, but to me, that is gonna be the best solution. I would pont you to an aftremarket place to look, but I don;t know of any...I'm not a modding kinda guy, and since my car is pretty new, I haven't had the need to go there. Best of luck.

I seem to recall seeing these, but not for a 6 series.

I don't like it at all. 
don't know why but in HK we do not have this Amber reflectors thank god.
I have not seen a 3rd party company make some new 1 to replace these.
maybe some 1 can change them to LED

You could send them out to be darkly tinted. I had the tailights of my GN done by this guy. He does top-notch work with a quick turn around.
