I say dump the 535d and just go with an M, but again, thats just my opinion.

I would sell the 535d and buy an LCI M5 and use it as a everyday car, it's great in my opinnion and if you can afford an M5 , I guess you definetely afford the gas consumption.

My Ride: 2007 E60 550i Black/Sand. Dinan free flow intake, throttle body, carbon fiber strut brace, and exhaust. Carbon fiber engine cover. Blend mount for a Belltronics RD w/mirror tap. Smoke LED taillights. Projector fog-lites w/HID kit.

I say buy the M5, but an e39 version. Then trade the 535d in for a brand new M5. Drive the brand new one everyday until the warranty runs out then switch. Or.... buy a brand new M5 and use the 535d to drive homeless people back and forth to the soup kitchen, that aughta help your soul rest easy.

I'm betting once you have the M5.. it will be more than a weekend car. You're always going to want to drive it, but then again.. it's meant to be driven. GO for it!
