I've decided to stay with Runflats so my choice is quite limited (I have 275 rears):

Dunlop SP Sport 01 DSST = ?706
Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 EMT= ?717
Bridgestone Potenza RE050 RFT = ?831

I've currently got Dunlop's but I'm sure the F1's or RE050's would be better!? I've had F1's previously (Not on this car) and they seemed fine, especially in the wet.

Anyone have any views/comments?

The prices are for the tyres only (245/40/18 + 275/35/18) - I'm going to discuss with my dealer fitting charges as they are charging silly prices for the complete 'package'...

I have the bridgestone potenza re050 and I like them a lot. Due to that my car has reached only 1000 km I haven't driven them in a very high speed but so far so good.
Good luck

I've had the RE050 for 2000kms, and there are approx 20% left. The ride is nice, and so the handling.

Indeed! Hopefully that's 20% worn!!!!?

I heard that they were quite soft rubber? (Maybe a rumour of quite noisy?)

Hmmmm... I have RE050's also. I was hoping for at least 20K miles but it looks like 15K miles is more likely. Has anyone done better than 15K miles (24K km) with the Bridegestones?

BMW replaced my Dunlops with Bridgestones and so far I've gotten 10,000 miles on them with no noise or excessive tread wear, so I hightly recommend the Bridgestones. I hated the Dunlops...tramlining, and horrible noise.

What would you estimate your treadwear (loss) to be so far? 50% or less? Thx.

I just checked all 4 tires; Fronts are about 45% while Rears are about 40%. Hoping for another 10K, but time will tell.
