Alligators
I was cruising on the interstate in the left hand lane at about 70 mph about 100-150 ft. behind an SUV on a very warm day this week when a full sized truck-tire alligator came tumbling from beneath and directly in front of me. All I could do was center it and hope for the best. It happened so fast that there was no way to dodge it. I expected a check control message as it rumbled full length under me, but was spared that misfortune. I imagined all sorts of facia damage, but the clear bra seemed to take the brunt of the damage. I have tried bug and tar remover to no avail. I may have to replace part of the clear bra to get back to normal.
It also knocked loose the rubber strip that is tacked on to the rear of the lower facia piece. Anybody know the penalty I will pay if I do not replace it?
