I've got a bent front rim on my 2006 550. I found a reconditioned wheel on e-bay for a pretty good price. The part number he gave me does not match the p/n on bmwusa.com, but it says style 124, 18x8, etc and the picture looks exactly like my wheel. How can I be sure?

Thanks for the help!

I think there was a design flaw on the lip of the rim on this specific style making them prone to crack and bend. Bmw redesigned them with a reinforced lip if not mistaken. I think it could be the reason for the different part number.

AFAIK, the OEM 8" 124s (fronts on staggered), should be marked: Germany 6760617 BMW 8Jx18EH2 ET 20.

I've also seen #6775645 and BBS #RD376.

Note that xi offsets/numbers are different.

All I know is that the Style 124's on the LCI 535i look different than those on my 545i. They seem "flatter"

thanks for the input, guys. the guy selling the wheel says the p/n is 676-0617, so i think i'm safe buying it.

i hope it gets here fast, the vibration at highway speed is driving me insane.

That's the correct p/n. You're good.

got the wheel last night. definitely a match - and it looks pratcially brand new. the test will be whether the vibration at 70 mph goes away. fingers crossed.

do you mind sharing the link. I'm looking for a rear wheel 18x9 I think. both rears are cracked on mine and 1 was fixed, but the other was said to be beyond repair. Time to find a replacement. Thanks!
