So for the past week I noticed a slight vibration in the steering wheel between the speed of 60 - 70 mph and I finally took it into the BMW dealer to have it checked out.
The SA called me back and told me if I had tire and wheel insurance? I said "no" and he told me "well... all four rims are bent on the inside and the price on all four rims is $2,100.00".
Before I go ahead and tell the SA to replace all four rims, how do I know if the price he quoted me is a fair price? Anyone had their 124 style rims replaced? What did it cost you?

Thanks.

Its a lease, so I would imagine I would have to return it in the original wheels.

Try Transwheel, I used them before and very pleased with the result.

http://www.transwheel.com/

It costs $80 per wheel. The only bad thing is you have to ship the wheels to them.

Another option is to buy a set of after market wheels and put the stock wheels away. When your lease is over, sell (the after market) wheels and put OEM wheels back on. Let the dealer deal with the bent wheels.

Repair or buy a set off e-Bay or from a member here sounds best to me.

Second that. Continue driving the car until you find a cheap set of take-off wheels/tires. Should be around $1,200 for the netire set.

I had three bent and cracked ones that I bought from a member in which he didn't know. This is a common problem with this wheel. I had to have them fixed. Cost me $150 per wheel. Now they are great!

find a local wheel repair specialist. sometimes they come to you and work out of their truck. if they are just bent(no cracks), they can be fixed for around 100-150 per wheel. maybe get a better deal for all four.

try this:

http://www.awrswheelrepair.com/locat....3460010832894

i used the local guy here, and did an excellent job.

you have to remember, dealers just change parts out, they never repair. so they prefer for you to buy new rims.

All four of my 124s were bent also. I had the straightened and painted black for 150 each
