If you can walk away from the car ASAP and not take any loss and your car has been a shop queen what would you buy or lease then?
Would you get another BMW?
Mercedes?
Sports car, Porsche, Maserati
Or will you go to Infiniti or Lexus which I would not even consider.
E60 is an unbelievable driving machine however all the quirks and breakdowns and operating cost dont make up for it.

Honestly, I wish BMW solves the problems with future models, but even with the glitches my car had I still think it was 100% worth it. The only thing I would give my 545i up for is a 550i, or an M5 if I could afford it. OKay fine, I might take a 6 series too
Other than that, I just love the way BMWs drive too much. I sold my 3 series for a 350Z to tune and ice up, and while it's fun to drive, I still don't get the same thrill I get driving my 5 series. I just wish I could figure out a way to install custom sound gear in my 5 series without messing it up too much
I just don't have the heart to cut it up like I did with my 3 series, and the iDrive system makes it a little difficult too.
Has anybody here sucessfully upgraded their sound system? I would love to see some pictures of the dash and trunk if they're out there.

Infiniti or Acura. If I was leaving for reliability, I would not go to another German manufacturer. BTW - getting ready for my 2nd dealer visit - for 15,000 mile oil change. So reliability is not really a problem for me.
