Hi Everyone,

After BMW performs an alignment, they give you a nice pretty printout of the alignment results. I'm curious if they would be able to recall this print out a few days after you had the alignment checked? Do they store this alignment info like they do with the rest of your service records?

There are no sensors to measure the alignment data (caster, camber, toe). If there are no sensors to measure, then there is nothing to store :-) The adjustments are done to the corresponding bolts.

Thanks for your reply. I haven't looked at an alignment being performed in a long time, but last I looked it thought I saw laser beams being used. In any regard, I was guessing where there is a print out, there is data that could be saved. Its seems like they save every other record, so I would not find it unusual to have this recorded along with everything else.

I thought you were asking if the alignment info is stored in the cars memory/computer. I misunderstood you. Sorry, my bad :-)

You were actually asking about the SERVICE FACILITY where the alignment is performed. Well, depends on the place. All of them will print a copy and give it to the customer. I am not sure if they actually store any of that info. I doubt it. You can call the place and ask them if they store...
