Hey yall, its been awhile since been on the forum because when I do I spend money on mods HOWEVER Ive developed a problem and need advice.
The other day I noticed the "beep" when I used the key fob to open my car was getting soft and at times not working. Came out of the pet store today and the alarm was goig off. Hit locks and kept going, turned on car drove away still going off. Turned off the car put in park still going off. Started car and drove and still going off, then just stopped. Went home and parked the car no problems. Twenty minutes later started going off. Would go off for like one or two minutes then stop for like five minutes then go off again and so on. I disconnected positve side of battery and reconnected after five minutes and hasnt gone off since, however no beep when doors are locked and unlocked. Any ideas, Im baffled. BTW Good job Canada but damn I had hopes for USA (mens hockey that is)

hmm thats weird, usually when you start the car the alarm should kill itself. I had a similar problem on my 330Ci (the alarm would just randomly go off), I replaced the hood sensor (~$20 part) and everything was fine after that. Perhaps you are having the same issue.

BTW- USA shoulda won!
