Alarm Malfunction

Anybody know why the high pitched alarm would go off while i'm driving down the street? Problem solved when I pulled over stopped opened the drivers door and closed it. Hasen't happened again so Far.

Samething happend on my sister's New Beetle for few times. I told her: "your car is piece of c***". Can't believe it also happend on the e60, too.

She took the car back to VW dealer, they reset the computer and it never happen again.
