Airfilter chance for 520d E60

Thank You all the answers! The biggest problem seems to be to remove the airfilter housing (backside of the housing in passengers side). It seems, that I`ll may need some special wrench because I can`t reach the bolt with my tools!

Did you remove the microfilter housing plastics?

If you mean the plastic at the end of air intaketube the answer is yes! After that, I can see the airfilter, but I still need to remove the BIG plastic around the filter and the big plastic is fitted few (how many and where they are?)bolts, that I could not remove!

wow, honestly had no idea the air filter's location was different on a diesel - sorry for giving misleading info guys.

This totally confirms my ignorance to diesels
