Default Airbags!!!

I do not have a driver side airbag as well as passenger side roof airbag. I have been trying to get these two parts for the longest without paying a ridiculous price. Can any one possibly point me in the right direction? I'm located in Dallas so if anyone knows of any shop that i can look for the part at please help me out. Is there any website i can purchase them from?

I once wanted to have a body shop fix in the airbags for me but i got a quote of close to $3k which i feel is not fair. I have seen videos of of people removing an installing new airbags in 10 minutes. I believe the driver side airbag cost between $270 and $500. The passenger side roof airbag is around $300. Therefore both cannot be more than $1k. I have no other choice but to pay labor cost for the roof airbag installation but with that everything shouldn't be more than $1500!

I also want to know if i need any other extra parts like a control module and whatnot. I would appreciate any feedback.

Cheers

I guess you mean the steering wheel airbag when you say driver side. Just keep shopping around, try ebay or try car-part.com. This airbag you can definitely do yourself. Get a long screw driver that fits in a hole on the underside center front of the steering wheel, push the screw driver in until the air bag pops up, disconnect remove then install the new one. You can also try to do the other one yourself. You WILL need someone to reprogram the airbag module if you don't have the software yourself. I recommend you go to youtube and watch a few videos on replacing the airbag.

Gee, you forgot to mention the most important step. Disconnect your batter before you start working on any airbag. Only reconnect after all connections are made. If you've ever actually seen one deploy you would have the up most respect for this little bad ass device.

You're right, I just figured that goes without saying.
