Hi there!
I saw that there is that flap control which prevents air flow from entering in the engine compartment..
When u push the gas pedal, it opens just a bit.. What is it for? can i rip it off? is there a way to maintain it open?

No, you shouldn?t remove it. This flap is there to lower wind resistance (drag) on the vehicle, therefore improving gas mileage. It only opens when needed. Its part of "efficient dynamics" as BMW calls it.
