@jays545 you had the shake when you didn't step on the brake petal or once you stepped on the petal the shake went on

Does the shaking reduce at all after the tires warm up?

JAYS545 06-13-2015 02:58 PM

I had the shake when I hit the brakes around 50 miles a hr.and above.

Out of curiosity you don't have fixaflat in any of your tires do you? I've seen that stuff create all kinda of shaking.

I have the shakes just accelerating above 60 mph, and no no fix flats that i know of

What is wrong guys? any suggestions?

Why did you only replace one shock ? I think its a good idea to do both sides to have an equal and balanced ride feel .. its recomended to replace in sets ..

Check the tie rod as well.

It was hard looking for the other "Sport M Strut" but i will be replacing my shocks with Megan Coilovers All around hopefully the shake will go away, As far as tie rods 2 Shops have said all my suspension components check out, they both said go for an alignment and get rid of the toe i am no looking forward to install the coilovers and then do the alignment

How old are the tires? Date code is on the side. I had a similar problem, bought from a retired gent who didn't drive it much. Tires were 6 years old but reasonable tread. Had them balanced twice before I checked the date code. New tires fixed the problem.

I am considering new tires they make that thump whenever I'm reversing or make a sharp left or right turn under 10mph
