"my steering wheel got stuck and the brakes didn?t apply."

Meine Lenkrad und die Bremsen verlieren die Versagen.

Good luck!
What you said is current tense My steering wheel and the brakes lose the senses.

should be kinda like

Meine Lenkungsgrad und die Bremsen waren kaputt gegangen. (NEED A GERMAN USER)

I do speak german but not so perfect as my english so I don't trust myself with this kinda official paper which can turn in to be legal stuff too

I dunno Znod if that was sarcasm or...
Another PMed me saying my reply was funny. I thanked him. But, then I realized what I had done. Didn't mean to be sarcastic. If I had it would have been funnier if I had replied to someone posting a message using the online informalities that some now use in the US. I would never have done such a not overly skilled English speaker on purpose.

Your English is very good & I expect German letter will also be good, but I am sure that BMW would give due attention to the request in your first language. They sold the car in Turkey so should give full support in your language. Just my thought, good luck..

If the engine shuts off, all the power assisted functionarys will also go.

I have once experieced this driving a old Scania truck in the early 80's.

Otherwise, this situation seems odd, very odd.
