From what I've noticed, the lights only move left when you are going 20-25mph or higher (US spec car, I imagine it would be to the right for EUR spec), and the lights will move to the right at anytime.

Also, for the one light not being level with the other thing, that is normal. For US spec cars the right headlight will be higher than the left, and for EUR spec cars the left will be higher than the right. And really it's not so much that one light is higher than the other, it's that one goes along the horizontal and the other is at an angle. Like someone else said, it's so that you can see things on the shoulder/curb/whatever.

No problems with the leathers, the seat warmers are great.

Have to admit, that the Defa system helps a lot

Ahem, the vast majority of cars in Europe drive on the same side of the road as the US. But you are right (left?) for those of us in RHD countries.

Very interesting because I don't think mine work. I came to this realization b/c 1 month ago I could dramatically see the headlights change direction when going down the road. Since that day I cannot tell a difference ? I think I am getting screwed.

The light switch is in the "Auto" position, isn't it?

My Ride: 2004 545i / Orient Blue (I think) / Tan int / 116's Wheels / ... my favorite option, the HEATED steering wheel! Previous cars retired: 2006 Corvette Z51, 2002 Corvette Coupe, 2002 Mustang, 1997 Maxima, 1994 Camry, 1990 Supra None, and I mean none compare to this 545i. The 06 Corvette was faster, but not by much...

Lights are working again
I just got back from the workshop and now seems that lights are working properly.
They had to do some reprogramming to the xenon unit and it worked.
Now the lights move as they used to be... but i?m not happy with fact that it took
four times to workshop :'(

you have to be kidding me, it only works on the auto function? who uses auto, with the parking ramps, tunnels and bridges I always manually turned them on. I will check then if thats it kick my own ass.
