i have a 2008 528i LCI with adaptive dynamic xenon lights and i recently bought two headlights (not in pairs because it’s cheaper)
They are OEM Hella headlights and i’m getting the adaptive headlight malfunction warning. i noticed the left headlight works fine all lights work and on the right all the lights work but no adaptive headlight movement.
is there coding required for it to function properly or can i just switch over the adaptive headlight control unit from my original set of headlights ?
if swapping out the control unit doesn’t work what would be my next step ?
if anyone does remote coding please let me know.
if not i’ll be willing to do it myself just need some steps
All help appreciated Thanks 🙏

While these lights are new to you, you did not indicate if they are used or new. Posting scan codes would also help. Make sue plug on the right side is seated correctly with no bent pins. Try right headlight on left harness . . . . .
