How do you check to see if the Adaptive Headlights are working properly?? By that I mean moving 15 degrees to the left and 15 degrees to the right.TIA

I do not think that you can actually measure the 15 degrees yourself. I believe that it requires a service appointment.

I thought I had a problem with mine due to lack of use recently (light until late here in the summer, did not have auto on engaged). What I did to check mine is find a dark road and switch on my high beams (Xenon, not halogen) and turned the wheel left and right. You should be able to see them track. IIRC you cannot get the lights to turn towards the left under low beam.

I beleive the left one is moving 15 deg, but the right one only 7 deg (if your car has the wheel on the left side). Not sure if that's the exact values. You can actually see the lights move when you are standing still turning the steering wheel. I also beleive there is a diag system built in, and the green light by the light switch will flash if something isn't working properly.

Yes - the green light flashes if the system doesn't initialize properly... I presume it does a check to see if all the motion is ok. Mine have been fixed today (new headlamp) so hopefully the light will stop flashing!!!

One thing to keep in mind while performing any visual testing: on a left-hand drive car, the lights will not move to the left if the car is standing still...

Yep.. just got home and I tested them driving about 15mph. Slowly turned the steering wheel to the right on a curve, and sure enough they went to the right. Then I did the same to the left, but on a straightaway, so I had to get all the way on the right, and quickly turn the wheels to the left, and it adapted quickly!
