Same problem with mine, dealer replace driverside headlights and the problem was fixed. Just knock on wood that it doesnt happen again.

Crosspost from e63 lounge, seems to be more e60 guys on here Perhaps some of you had similar problems in your e60s...

The stupid green led indiacator keeps flashing on the knob where you turn the headlights on off from. (The one thats solid green usually) Nothing comming up in idrive...

turns out, my adaptive headlights arent working! (They do self auto adjust level, but not turning with the steering wheel!) I read somewhere, you need to have the lights set to auto for them to be in adaptive mode. Well i set it to auto, still a blinky led, and no adaptive headlights... Perhaps it will take some time? Is something else pooched?

Cheers

I took mine in to the dealership and they replaced it. They were able to duplicate the issues, so it is working fine now.

have the same problem, it happened after i switched the angel eyes. Went to the dealer today and told him what happened (know the manager so he told me not to worry it wont void my warranty) but he told me they will start by updating the software, then go from there have an appointment on monday so if anything i'll let you know

Same thing on my 530. went in for test and was told.

Check car for fault on headlight switch - green LED flashing constantly - connect to diagnostic - found ALC system defect fault stored - fault would not clear - carry out CIP record to lamp module & adaaptive headlight control unit - still led flashing - found N/S headlight faulty due to faulty wiring or in headlight - motor. requires new headlight.

New Headlight ?795.41 plus VAT ?139.20 Total ?934.61.
Holy crap!

My thoughts exactly. Maybe $2500. for an extended warranty isn't so bad after all....
