Did anyone experience the same malfunction that the little green light next to the headlamp switch blinks when the lights are on? I read it in the owners manual that it is cuz of the malfunction in the adaptive xenon system, and i have to get it checked out by the dealer? Cud it just because of the old software for idrive cuz the eyebrows don't work on my car either. Will the update solve both of my problems? And do i have to take it to the dealer? I live in Queens New York, any gud shops that can handle it besides the ripoff dealerships? Your help is appreciated. Kevin

Your battery is possibly about to die out soon.
It happened to mine last year. Starts with blinking of adaptive headlight control, then sluggish ignition and then totally dead.
Get it repaired if its under warranty. Battery itself is ~ $300

really could it be the battery? if so that'll be awesome. Could we put any other aftermarket good battery... or is Bmw one a must?

I bet the drivers side light isn't swiveling to the correct position.
