My Ride: BMW E60 520d SE Saloon M47 2.0dTitanium Grey II, Grey−Dakota Leather, Visibility Package, Media Package, Through Load System, Lumbar support − fr seats, Automatic Air Conditioning−Advanced, High beam assistant, Hi−Fi Loudspeak

Now if only BMW could decide where to put the Apadative Brake light feature. One place for all cars would be a start.
1. Pre-LCI US cars - BFD = circle light.
2. Pre-LCI EU cars - BFD = middle light.
3. Pre-LCI other regions - no BFD.
4. LCI US cars - BFD = circle light.
5. LCI EU cars - BFD = circle light.
6. LCI other regions - BFD = ??
But there is another little known feature of the BFD light. If your main Brake light bulb fails the BFD bulb takes over and becomes the Brake light even though you get a warning on the iDrive. I find this feature the best.
