Active Steering issues!!!!! HELP

So here is the exact diag from the dealer

Customer states active steering malfunction active
Has aftermarket extended warranty
AFS - 614A and 6137
Faulty engine sensor - part or power steering rack
Recomend replace steering gear
Work decline 1hr Diag
Estimate $5101.00 Complete

Not sure if those are part numbers for the sensor or rack and pinion or what.

I just had mine fixed at the dealer - there is a 'contact' point on the steering column (or something to that effect) that was defective and triggered the same message that you are getting, and the part was replaced. I'll look at the explanation on the paperwork and add it here tomorrow.

This is the part number that is shown on my paperwork.
Part number - 61-31-9-136-898 (google this)

(write-up from the service dept)
"The SZL is faulty internally. Perform vehicle short test - SZL 94E7 steering angle sensor wiper contact is faulty. AFS CE93 6145 6140 are all related to the SZL problem. Replace the SZL Steering Angle Sensor. Had to update the complete vehicle with ISTA/P first. Then peform SZL calibration and cleared all fault codes."

I don't know what 'SZL' means.
