Driving around some of the tight, tight parking garages throughout some of the major cities in Europe (just got back from a ED '05 545i/SMG), I can honestly say that I really appreciated the help from AS.

Further, the car was solid and had plenty 'o feedback for moi at 152 mph! The car is very sure-footed and planted...even at airplane take-off speeds!

Oh, and the HUD is just plain AWESOME!!!

Ditto again!

AS has no drawbacks in my car, only the benefits.

The guy simply expresed his opinion, which he is entitled to. We have had this debate before, those of you w/ AS love it. I know you guys w/ AS find this hard to believe, but there are actually some of us out here who don't care for it. No need to beat him up for his opinion, he really didn't criticize the AS. Might as well criticize our color choices as well.

Cool it Ken, I don't hear anyone beating up his opinion. I respect it. But in the absence of a response this thread would not have brought to light the fact that maybe early build cars had a hardware flaw that caused instability.
The picture below is taken last week with a car with AS. Hard to not argue that the problem might be fixed.
