I suspect that you won't find data like that. It's a safety issue, the same as they refer to ABS brakes and DSC as safety features, and that you shouldn't drive harder/faster because of the feature.

I appreciate the responses! If there is one thing I wanted on my car but didn't get was the Active Roll feature. Should I have gone w/ the sport package, probably, but I just didn't like the feel of the Active Steering. I'm sure if I had done some more extensive test driving, I would have come to appreciate it, but alas, I did not. Oh well, just have to take the interstate on ramps at 50 mph instead of 60 mph!

I wonder when you test drove AS. (was it a few months ago?)

I found AS very noticeable at low speeds and helped alot with parking in Europe.
Now 2 software upgrades later it is less noticeable, but its presence is really apparent when you drive any other car. Several members have found that later software upgrades dialed down AS. I would say probably for the better.

And as for interstate ramps, with ARS, 80mph is nooo problem.

Test drove back in Dec 2003, ordered early Jan 2004. I have read about the latest software updates toning it down a bit. Don't get me wrong, I love the car and it handles much better than what I would ever likely put it through, except maybe in an emergency situation.

Handling improved on turns because steering geometry is closer to neutral or straight ahead. This places more uniform load on tires with less sidewall flex. Add high aspect ratio tires and you have better cornering because the edges of the tires don't peel up. On low aspect radial tires, sidewall rolls and your rim can even hit the road on the outside edge because of the body roll that tilts the wheel outward relative to vertical. So, it helps all around and with any tire style.
