Hi everyone again. I am in need of getting new front active sway bar for my 2005 545i. Mine has a leak and causes hard fault in my system. New one is out of the question. It is 1800 plus 200 for labor. I am looking for a one that is possibly refurbished with warranty. I know it will cost a fraction of the price. I will not throw 2k in a car that is worth about 14k now. If anyone knows a place to get one of those I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

try bavarian auto recycling? They offer warranties on their used parts.

So glad I sold my 545 didn't even think about that breaking.....

is the actual coupling leaking?
have you checked to make sure its not a loose hydraulic line? that has happened to me.

you try ebay?

Thanks for looking however 30 day return policy only applies for it. I am looking for refurb item with at least 1 year warranty. As for the leak I have check the part and it seems like a seal that is on the middle part whatever it is called is leaking. I wish it was the line... I will check that auto recycling website. And one more thing. Should I replace anything else when I remove that bar any bushings etc, when I take the bar out?

I remember seeing this fix for a leaking active sway bar.
Don't know if you are leaking in the same place but thought I would pass it on.
