According to the lenghty and informative article I read on this board, it appears that ACC will not be available in the US. Can anyone confirm this for sure. I can see no reason why they would not incude this in the US since there are other manufaturers that offer this. This is one feature that was a must have for me since I live in NJ and the traffic here is bad due to people who must drive in the left lane.

Latest information is that ACC will indeed be available as an option on all models in the US. However, the date of availability is unknown.

(ACC is listed as an option in the new E60 customer brochure dealers started receiving last week.)

 

There are conflicting reports. Roundel says that it is not available, and now I am looking through waht appears to be an official US mini sales brochure and it is mentioned as optional equipment in both the series ouline pages and the pictures of the interior options. Which is correct?

Sorry about all of these messages. It is just an important option for me. I pulled out my mini US sales brochure and saw it listed twice.
