Hey guys I was at my BMW dealer killing time when I realized that Active Autowerke was right across the street (literally)
So I decided to pay them a visit. I was pretty amazed at what I saw there (all 3 series though
) but I was very impressed nonetheless. They were very nice and welcoming, and the guy even gave me a tour of the place (I took some pics
). He's good friends with Luis///OSS. They are about to release a remap for the 5 series, that adds torque and 15 Hp (thats about the only thing they have for my car), priced at $399, definatelly something I'll be looking to in the future.
The guy did complement my car!!!
ENJOY!!
Parking (I felt like I was at Bimmerfest)

335i (Daily Drive Car, abou $20,000 in the engine, about 400hp if I remember correctly)

Inside the store (pretty clean I must say)

Where magic happens (these are the cars you guys see on the website, the engineers were doing more stuff to the engine)

He showed me this one before I left ('95 3-series A LOT of $$$ put into this engine **800hp
)

Sounds like a good time!!
I've been going to them for upgrades/service for over a decade now. They are very meticulous in their work. Wish they did more for the 5ers and the V8s, but the 3 series market is so much larger. I had one of their E46 exhausts custom fit to my E39 and it sounded fantastic- and made more power! Still my favorite muffler to date.
