Did anyone get the 16.2 CIP on a CCC car and then "Acoustic Confirm on Lock" was disabled, regardless of vehicle settings?
I still have the flash on lock/ unlock but no beep. |

Mine was beep on 13.2 and it still beeps on 16.2. Like it's been posted above, it's an iDrive setting.

There were loads of complaints about car alarms going off all the time for hours on end and so I think the law was changed so that car alarms had to reset after n seconds and as part of this change in the law I seem to remember something about the acoustic confirmation of alarms being enabled and disabled was prohibited as well. Mind you I could have got it all totally wrong though :D |
