Accessing my trunk

Accessing my trunk
Posted over on Bimmerfest as well, but thought I'd post here. Need help!!!
Long story short: I can't get into my trunk. The lock on it has been drilled out, so I can't use the key. The electronic release button on the deck lid won't open it. I can't push the release button on my key fob to open it. I can't push the trunk release button inside the car to open it. It does not have the ski package for me to somehow crawl into it from inside either.
What on earth am I going to do to get into this thing? Anyone have any ideas? I'm open to just about anything here, as I need to get into this dang thing.

If you can see into the trunk from the drilled out hole, maybe you can get a stick on the glow release handle and operate that with a stick. If not, you'll have to remove the back seats and get in that way.

Actually the rear seat back rest cannot be removed without getting into the trunk first.
I would try this:
1) Fold down the rear seat hand rest in the middle.
2) Remove the armrest panel / plastic cover (part #4)
3) Drill a big hole through the back rest base panel (It's made of some kid of recycled material) (part #2)
4) Then I would use a long steel wire (or a stick with a hook) through the drilled hole and would try to grab the emergency lever of the trunk lid and pull (part #10)
You can drill the hole and later you will cover it again with the armrest plastic panel so it won't be visible.

Emergency handle won't work. I actually did what you suggested, and tied something to it and was using that for a bit but now it won't work at all.
Any other suggestions? I don't even care if I have to replace the trunk deck!

Ok. Well, then you could make the hole in the base panel bigger so that you can put your arm through it. With a screwdriver you could try to unlock the two little clips in the roof of the trunk. The clips hold the upper edge of the back rest in place. Then you would be able to remove the backrest and crawl into the trunk and try to work with the trunk lid.
I'm searching for the pics showing the two clips...

I think you would be able to do this without seeing them. The clips are just a bit tight, but trying to move them with a screwdriver you will understand into what direction and how you need to move them. You will notice when a clip is released.
