Default acc power source

Hi there
i am wondering if anyone here know where I can get the acc wire inside the car.
I am after a source which will provide 12v power ONLY WHEN the car is started. Tried the wires behind the headunit but most wires has power after I open the door. Any help will be great.

The cigarette lighter doesn't come on untill you press the button twice or start the car, you could tap into that.

I assume you have the power outlet under the passenger footwell/glovebox. You can drop this panel and take the 12v from there. The wires are of a better size. I don't recommend pulling it from some of the other smaller wires unless you are only powering a small item.

Best place to get power, easy to do and lots of amps available. View my DIY threads I think I have a pic in one of them.
