hello fellow members i have an issue i need helped with. I have researched and have found no definite answers. i have a 07 525i my normal AC doesn't seem to be cold more like a cool/room temp air coming out. when i hit the MAX ac button is blows super cold air out. I thought it was low on Freon so i took it to the shop today and the guys there said the ac system is working fine, its not low on Freon and pressures are good on the system. He reffered me to a BMW specialist to further investigate the problem. He did come to a conclusion that it was either the head unit controls or the actuator vent in the dash stuck or not opening right. I have checked air flow on IDrive and everything is good, max air is set on vent and there is no option for heat or cool like the 3 series have to turn knob on the dash. To my understanding max ac just blows max air from the blower and recirculates the air in the car instead of using outside air. Don't see why its such a big difference is air temp not having max ac on, plus max ac turns off after a couple mins then i feel the temp is the car start to get warm again. i have checked my cabin filters and they are clean. any help please

could it be a heater control valve. someone had an issue that they had cold air out of some vents and hot from others. mine situation is a little different bc i get the same air out of all front just not cold
