Hi,

Had same problem - took it to dealer and found faulty AC pressure sensor which indicated to computer that I dont have gas for cold air (which i actually had).
Replaced sensor, re-gassed and done - freezin' my ass of as normal.

update...

So i took the car in and after a few hours got a call from my SA saying the AC was out because a rock cracked the condenser and that I would have to pay ~ $1100. i called my insurance and it should be covered but i'm still trying to figure out how a rock could have hit the front without showing any physical damage to the front of the car.

at least the loaner is fun (135i w/ sport package)

Years ago my partner had a Mazda MX-6. Same happened to him. A rock made it through the lower part of the grill.

The comment that it does not help those that do not have a warranty- this was covered by insurance at least

yeah at least insurance will cover it, 1100$ on less than a 2 month old car is just crazy. oddest part is there are no marks on the front so i have no idea how a rock could have made it's way thru.

waiting for the insurance people to check the car out and then i can get the new part installed
