Hi all,
On my way home from Berlin a few days ago all of sudden a few warnings showed up, on the iDrive screen.
![ABS/TPM/DSC failure-img_0097.jpg](https://5series.net/forums/attachments/e60-discussion-2/46899d1482366113t-abs-tpm-dsc-failure-img_0097.jpg)
(the fuel warning is gone now
)
My instrument cluster show's a big ABS sign, and 3 warnings lights (yellow) are on.
I know that it?s a regular failure on the E39 5 series, where this failure is related to a broken ABS sensor (most common on one of the rear wheels).
Anyone on this board, with any experience on this subject? How can I find the malfunctioning sensor?

Same indication on mine a year ago (not the fuel part however). Was lateral acceleration sensor. No cost as was covered by our BMWNA extensive warranty. No issues since replacement.
Cannot tell if your price is good or not. Just the speed sensor is $170 (no labor) and the a DSC repair kit is $750 so hard to tell exactly where this sensor falls in the scheme of things.

Anyone in here having a document, showing how too change an ABS sensor?
I just can't understand how my dealer can charge me for 2 hours. On the E39 it's a 45 min's job!!
