Just wondering about how many miles I can expect to get on a set of tires? I realize it varies depending on a lot of things...just trying to get an idea. My buddies E39 540 got about 20K miles, my E34 got about 60K miles...my 911 gets about 6K miles...

I have the original 18" Bridgestones RFT. I thought they will only last 20,000 miles.
I have more than 25,000 miles on them so far, and I think it will last another 5000 miles easily.

75% highway / 25% local.

I was within about 100 miles of 20,000 on my Dunlop RFTs before I had them swapped under the TSB. I think I could have done another 20K on them, but I drive a lot of highway miles and really try to keep the inflation pretty consistent.

I have the Conti's with 40 large on them.....I think I can get another 5 or 6 out of them with no significant problems.

I have a 520d SE with 225/50/17 goodyear runflats. I do 100 miles a day of basically motorway/ freeway and country roads - approx 50/50. At 31k miles, i have just under 6mm on the fronts and just under 4mm on the rears. Bummer is my left rear gave a puncture warning, went to 7 psi and is loosing air when pumped to 30 psi down to 25 psi in a couple hours - i was hoping to exceed 40k miles on them!

Does it make any difference with Tire Rotation if you have all 4 tires same sizes ??
