Here Shell V Power 100 Octane is expensive (?1.45/lt) ... I have used it for six month on both cars (MCS and 545i), but now I prefer the 98 for ?1.25/lt .

(BTW - cats are compulsory everywhere in Western Europe; in CEE there's - I think - still some choice, but there's few decent roads on which to exploit the choice)

93 is tops here in "Almost Heaven" West Virginia. I use Chevron 93 for the techron additive.

ImolaRedM and noonehome are right. US gas often gets a bad press because people focus on the number and misunderstand the scale that is used. The US uses a different measurement and you need to add 4 or 5 to the US rating to get an apples to apples comparison with other (i.e most) countries or regions that use RON as the basis for measurement. 91 to 92 gas here might be sold as 95 to 97 elsewhere.

In NJ sunoco has 94 octane, so thats about 100 european. All other gas stations have 89-91-93. So if you can get 100 here its like 105-106 european.
