So my CD changer won't eject the 6CD holder/cartridge and none of the CD's will play. I have tried pushing in the eject button while grasping the CD cartridge and pulling out... but I can not get it out. Afraid to damage anything worse or I would try a screw driver. Anyone have experience or advice on this. Thanks. - Roger

hey rog, i recall theres a DIY reset for the CD changer using the eject button or something of a sort.Do a small search on that. Maybe that will help?
Ill try to do a search also.will update you when i find it
Im sure someone who has experienced this will jump in and help you out.
PS: Try ejecting the CD the next morning.Leave the car sleep overnight, then tomorrow morning try to eject. Last post http://forums.e60.net/index.php?show...60663&hl=eject

Try disconnect the -VE of the battery and if possible have a friend help you with reconnecting it. When your friend reconnects the battery you immediately try and eject the catridge. The power surge may help you. You could try doing this yourself too. Failing which a dealer visit will be needed.
However once out I'll leave it to you if you want to decide to try putting it back in again

Thanks Btlejuice for the link. I will try this. Bruce, thanks for the advice. If the reset doesn't work I will try your suggestion. As an update. I just realized today that the in-dash CD is also not working and not ejecting. I can scroll to CD on i-drive, however when I "click" to select CD... nothing happens. So both in-dash and glovebox changer are neither playing or ejecting.

This apply for the single in-dash CD, I think the OP havin' problem w/ 6-disc CD Changer in the glove compartment.
