60/40 split rear seat noise

Hi,
I've had my 05 525d for about 6 months now. It's great, and I'm loving the comfort, speed, handling and image upgrade over my old Saab 93.
One thing that bugged me slightly from day 1 was the amount of creaking/squeeking coming from the rear seats. I have the 60/40 split drop down rear seats, with the plastic "hinges" at the bottom of the seat backs. I've pulled these every which way, WD40'd all the joints, added padding but I just can't seem to stop this. I have the standard suspension, so the ride is pretty smooth, but any shake results in a plastiky creak from the rear.
Does anyone else have the split seats, and how have you had similar issues?

Poor build quality has to blame
E60 feels less solid than the old e39, my mate has got his E39 for 6 years now and still solid as rock Sorry i didnt help
