My Ride: 2006 Titanium Silver 550i, with all the bells and whistles!!

I will not lie. I am bad at parking. What's the story with 5 series cars and backup cameras? Also, do the side mirrors tilt down in reverse? It would probably get expensive to hire someone fulltime to drive around with me and help me park when I need it.

My vote is for the 550, I love mine!! Yes the side mirror turns down while in reverse, but sometimes it actually bothers me.

I LOVE THIS CAR!!!
(WAAAAAYYYYY better than my previous MB E350, but quite a bit more expensive :( )
I like how the description for the 535 says "This white pearl has EVERYTHING" hahahahahahahahahah (except the SPORTS PACKAGE!!!! ) Yeah get the 550. If the 535i doesn't have the sports package, what's the point....oh and about that HPFP problem, I havent had anyproblems (knock on wood)...hmmm

BTW only pass side mirror tilts down and if you want, you can turn this on/off by toggling the selector for mirror mirror adjustment
Can't stress it enough that if you have a lead foot, you'll NEED a sport pk. Really, cannot stress this enough!
As for parking, you can get the PDC - either with the car from factory, or retrofitted. You can also retrofit the back-up camera, but that's slightly more complicated I think. Either way, there are threads covering this in great detail on this forum - just have to dig through them a bit
GL with your purchase - whatever you buy - hope it is something you really love

My Ride: SOLD...Jet Black 2008 550i M Sport with SAT, black interior. RPI exhaust and air scoop, 35% huper optik tint all around, CF roundels, flat black kidneys, Springfield Armory XD-40 jet black in glove box, charcoal filter removed.
Option 1 no doubt about it. For what you want, pushing it hard at freeway speeds, the V8 is where its at. The 535 is a GREAT and quick car to drive, very snappy...BUT the V8 is a beast and feels relaxed and at home cruising at 90+ mph down the freeway. The 535 begins to feel pushed passed 90 mph on the freeway - not exceedingly, don't get me wrong it will move too, but just not as relaxed as the 550i.
Good luck on you purchase. And GO CPO or pass until you find one that is CPO - regardless of the option you go with. I guarantee you will never regret that decision.
