Once muted, stays muted, even on a restart. If playing an MP3, pauses in place until un-muted.

If you don't want to look at the radio display, bring it back to the main menu.

Same thing with me. If I mute it before turning off the car, it stays muted even when I start up the car again. If that's not happening with you, maybe something is wrong with it?
