My Ride: 550i M-Sports

550i Sounds like a truck :(

I have attached a youtube video to help

It drives perfectly (except the sounds)

Sounds doesn't seem as noticeable when its warm.

Any idea ?

* Running 98 Ron Decent Fuel
* Oil was changed 4000~ miles ago
* No warnings on the car dash
* Engine is still smooth

* Maybe the DISA valve ?
* Timing Tensioner?

Now I'm thinking its the waterpump

Your water pump pulley bearing is going bad, time to replace the water pump. Look at the pulley while the engine is running, and you may see it slightly wobble while it rotates.
