Hello,
I'm fallowing the Pelican DIY to remove the alternator.
I'm on the step 10, here: https://www.pelicanparts.com/techart...eplacement.htm
I can, with a screwdriver, move the alternator. The upper part of the alternator moves. But the bottom does not move at all. Even grabbing the alternator pulley and pulling it straight, I can not dislodge it.
I also disconnected the clip of the battery wire that passes in front of it.
How do you do this ?
Does i must remove the steering pump ?
Thanks !
it's hard but it's so cool ^^

Look at step 14 and you'll see what you're fighting. You need to prise upward enough to partly move that pressed in dowel and let the alternator have some movement. Once that's done, the alternator should be free to lift upward.

Thank you ! I've finished to remove it :-)
I have forced a little with a screwdriver, i've dissassembled the pulley and i've move the alternator in force and it finished to come out !
Bwahhhh !! it's a mega oil leak.... !
Now, i will remove the pump (objective is the little join behind the alternator support...).
