Looking at a 2006 550i Titanium Grey (looks like silver grey) Black leather, Nav, Shades has 83,000 miles
Asking 19,000
Is this high for the miles???
What should the buy price be?
Thanks!

Have you checked edmunds and kelly blue book? Have you looked at the local market on sites like autotrader, ebay and any local publication like the bargain news?? That is higher miles for an '06...

You might want to check your local high-line new car dealerships - even non-BMW stores. You might find a similar model with fewer miles, some warranty, and not much more expensive.

Coming from a Silver Grey M3, This looks similar. Their ad says Titamium Grey, but I have never heard of that,
but this would only be my second E60, my first was an 04 530i Schwartz/Beige
Have had alot of 5's 3 e34's (89 525i, 90 535i dinan, and the one of 65 95 540i Msport autmatic, 3 e39's
99 540i sport, 2000, 540i sport and my beast 2000 M5 with Dinan CAI,3:45dif,Tubie exhaust, ss headers, powerchip gold)
I have ALWAYS love the 5 series, obviously,I think after what I have paid in the past for nice 5's this is
not something I should be hesitating about, but its going to be an everyday driver, so the only real negative
is the mileage, going from 36 to way less and having to buck up for premium as well.
I was considering a 335i due to mileage, but comfort is a deal as I do spend alot of car time.

You don't mention options or condition but the pricing appears to be slightly below the private party sale price for a vehicle in good condition.

this is like the exact state of affairs of my current ride - i havent noticed any systems with trouble - understand that you will probably need new tires as soon as you buy this one - the thing to check is the inside of the treads on the back 2 tires - i saw good treadwear on the outsides when i bought mine but the insides were down to the belts. i would pay 19k for my car, i paid 21.5 back in april with 75k on the clock.. everyone seems hesitant on forums to own one of these without a warranty, i guess youre just risking an expensive repair but as far as my car is concerned I t feels like it could make it to 1,000,000mi without any issues, this thing still feels brand new. mine is also fully decked out - oew M5 rims, m-sport susp 6 speed mt, sport seats all leather, idrive with nav, l7 sound - if its not decked out with options maybe the price is a little high i guess
