Today was my first snow day for the 550 too.

Bridgestone RFs in the snow - not good.

Wife's Volvo XC90 in the snow with new Nokian all-season tires - what snow? Even with 4WD we used to slip and slide around on the Michelin Energy MXV 4 Plus tires that come stock on the Volvo. But these Nokians are amazing! I guess Fins know a thing or two about snow.

I do have snow tires on order, thankfully, because the stock Bridgestone runflats are not at all good in the white stuff. I nearly slid into the garage door post pulling in to the garage because even at 2 mph the traction control was loosing control in a fight between my braking and the fast engine idle. Yikes.

Hey db79, big hoops game this weekend with your Longhorns versus my Blue Devils. It's very cool to see #1 and #2 facing off so early in the season. By the way ... sorry about last night UPENN545.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas ...

I'm just glad I didn't put a scratch on my baby. It performed beautifully and kept me away from any danger. I was on a solid sheet of ice!! Probably anymore tilt or degree on the road and I would've been putting up a whole different story.

Of course the Oasis is open! Haven't been there since the lightning strike, but they've got a section still open while they rebuild. I just checked the website, limited menu! But I really just went there for the drinks anyway.

Thanks. I thought it actually closed for a while at the start of rebuilding.

This is turning out to be a great year for the Longhorns. If we beat your AP #1 Duke it'll be the first time in our school history.

See that you got your M -Aero Kit! Nice, nice, nice!

I was going to guess 360 or 2222. You can't imagine how many miles I have logged on both. County Line on the Lake is my all time favorite BBQ--not that its necessarily the best--but the great BBQ, sitting on the patio next to Bull Creek before dinner, watching the mixed-bag in Austin, etc. etc. Yehaaaa. Is the Oasis built back yet?

And I'll bet the bridge over the river was fun!

I have good friends who live just south of there, in the Austin County Club.

And once UT beats on USC in football you can be #1 in both sports simultaneously. Has that ever been done?

I see. Oh well, go Horns. Kill USC. I doubt it. Win, well, anything can happen. USC is good. I can only hope the Horns are really back after such a long time and can follow through year after year like they used to.
