Was looking through some pics from an M3. The first pic is with the GP Thunders. I think they have a bit of a purple in them, but at $14, I can always put the stock one's back in if I don't like it. The other pics are of the H8 Lux Angel Eyes, they look great!
Btw, M3trizzle, you have a beautiful M3, very tastefully modified.

Sorry about that, Krozi then has a beautifully modded m3
What I'll end up doing is buying the 7500k gp thunders and waiting it out for the e60 LCI LUX kit. In his email, he just says they made a change to the design so that they might fit in the 5-series. I'll wait until another forum member tries them out or he officially says they can fit and work perfectly on an e60 LCI. Thanks for all of the advice everyone!

Thanks for all of the advice everyone!I really like the color and brightness of the bulbs in the first picture, most OEM looking. The HID and orion's look too aftermarket for my taste. Are you confident that just getting those 8500k bulbs will be as bright or brighter than an LED bulb, such as the umnitza's and WeissLicht? If so, that would be great since the bulbs are significantly cheaper. Let me know before I click the buy button. Thank you again!
Like retardedorange said, any bulb replacement you throw in there will be hardly visible in the day if they are white.
Now, I actually finally experienced LUX first hand two weeks ago when I installed it on a M3. I just want to say that they are way freaking overpriced. Essentially what you're buying is 2x 10w LEDs coupled with two gigantic heatsink. There is no flipping way why they should cost $300. That's ludicrous. Also, I wasn't particularly impressed by its brightness either. It was 'aight to me.
Not everybody is interested in blinding the ongoing traffic with their angel eyes.
We're interested in the OEM brightness but with LEDS. Does LUX achieve that? Or do they simply output the same light as all the other LEDs which are not seen during the day?

here is our list in order of brightness:
LCI lights are:
$50 for dimmer H8 based ICE Lite with resistor required.
$97.50 for ICE V5 with resistor required - exactly the same as the Weeeeeiiiisssslicht <-- gesundheit
$169.99 for Genesis ? about 30-40% brighter than ICE V5 for LCI only) with resistor required - very good quality system.
$249 for the Predator ICE ? the brightest for LCI available - resistor included - HID based.
$245 for Orion V2 ? requires opening the lights (cutting) and is not for the faint of heart (no resistors required) <-- best available option and truest color setup.
