just wondering those with a 550i, what is your idle rpms without the ac on?
mine is around 500 rpm, or just ever so slightly below.

mine is 525 n i had post sismilar questions before, and all members' replied that they also have their idle speed ard 550~600rpm
mine is 600rpm, n i thought its low, and sometimes a little rattling if so loose items are around.

My cure?
install my RPI exhaust and with a scoop + KNN filter.

now my mind had been takne over not at idle speed but the rumbling sound of RPI!
i totally forgot my idle is still 600rpm, and yes, i move fast like buttefly (Mohammed Ali) now

I have an '07 550i auto, and with the car warmed up, AC on, trans in drive and braking, my tach shows about 700 rpm.

Same conditions, but AC off, I get just a smidge below 500 rpm. At that level, the car has a slight vibration that I
had my dealership take a look at. They say they set it to stock idle, which made no difference and still shows the
barely-under-500 rpm. So I guess this is normal...

yeah, occasionaly i notice a slight vibe, and was wondering if the idle is too low. i guess its more or less normal.
