Mid 13's good driver
High 13's punch-and-go driver.
Get a 535i if you're looking to mod.
Much more potential with the twin
turbos than NA.

Get a supercharger.
Otherwise be prepared to spend a few thousand for a couple of bolt-ons and you might
get a little more kick.

not just buy an aftermarket supercharger?
Probably wind up being same price and you would
make a lot more power.

For the amount of money spent on Dinan, why
not just buy an aftermarket supercharger?

i'm still under warranty for another year and dinan matches it.
however, when it expires i will defenitly consider a supercharger.

If you got the money then go for it !
Curious as to see how much more hp
those mods you listed above will make...
I really want to see what the 550 can
do when it's supercharged.
With the right pully and tune, that thing
is going to be a beast...

If you have a manual transmission, the lowered ratio differential will help off the line but not 1/4 mile times.
Don't forget the 550i is 500 pounds heavier than an E46 M3 and a lot more quiet so it will never seem as quick.
