My Ride: MY05 545i Jet Black with Auburn interior. SMG, Logic7, Sport Package, Comfort Seats, Navigation.
My commute is 32 miles a day with 30 miles highway against traffic.
I get 20 mpg.
Just for comparison, I know it's a totally different car. The same commute with my M44 318ti, I get 31 mpg.
My wife use it 100% city driving at 10 miles per day will return a dismal 13 mpg

My Ride: 07 550 i, mystic blue, black leather, cold weather package, nav, sport, shades, bags, rear heat, V1 hardwired.
05 F350 TD Crew Cab
04 Range Rover HSE
91 964 C4 Cabrio
07 997 Turbo Cabrio
mpg in my 550 bothered me until I adopted my own corporate average fuel economy standard with my fleet. I have 417 miles on the 997, and it turns in a carbon foot print the size of Delaware, with a single digit 9 mpg. The 964 makes about 12, the Rover 10, and the f350 TD makes 13. So the 16.8 from the 550i makes me giddy as Al Gore in a Prius errrr 528...

2006 550 with 14k miles here.
I've posted in a few past threads, now with my AFE cold air intake and quad remus exhaust.... same.. 11-12mpg around town in LA traffic. 21mpg on the highway 75-80mph.
I just drove from LA to SF last week for my move with cruise control at 80 or 85mph, with one stint where I went faster
It averaged right at 20.5mpg.
