550 manual transmission
Hello everyone,
I have a '07 550 with manual transmission and i noticed that at times it sounds like the clutch is slipping especially in 3rd and 4th gears. Has anyone ever had that experience? Thanks in Advance.

The Miles on the car is 44400 miles. I also just pressed on the brake and it was rock hard, could not stop. Another instant is it was really soft and would not slow down.

are you on an autocross track... when was the last time you checked your brake fluid? I use modul 600 and still manage to set it to a boil even with stainless steel brake lines... Stainless steel will change the whole braking system a huge improvement... but at least check your fluid levels -
Hi there, I believe there is a recall issued for certain 5 series models regarding a vacum issue in the braking system. The symptoms you descibed matched what the dealer told me would happen if there is a leak.
