Same reply as always..

For $500 you can give a 535 a good leg up on a 550 until 130+ MPH or some ridiculous speed that 99% of people will never reach or have any need to really. I'm sure you could spend a million dollars modding either to be faster, but legitimate (reliable) cheap mods to the 535 kick it up on that category. If you care about slightly better gas mileage.. you have your answer too. If you need/want AWD then you have your answer.

If none of the above matter to you, you don't want AWD, you want the car that's faster out of the gate stock, and/or the V8 because of the sound/feel/or any other answer.. then you have your answer.

I agree on the S85 being delicate. As for the N62, correct me if I'm wrong, but most of the info out there as far as power levels and long term reliability go is speculation. Are there even a handful of kits installed? I honestly believe the N54 would take the abuse better than the N62, even at 600hp but admittedly that's speculation.

I mean, c'mon, there is supposedly an Xi version from Vishnu with 610WHP - with no modification to the rest of the drivetrain. Really? Granted, no one has seen it, or the dyno runs, or the timeslips. However, the claim that the bone stock trans and transfer case can handle that? Do you really think so? Sounds similar to claiming those 1200HP Supras have stock drivetrains.
Honestly? I do, yes. On cars like your Honda and the GM cars we modify you need to upgrade everything... Transmission hard parts, half shafts, etc to keep up with the added power. Since coming to German cars 3 years ago I've learned that BMW, Audi and Mercedes all tend to use much higher quality components, capable of handling exponentially more power right out of the box. That and the Vishnu car is running a single turbo so the sky is the limit there. 600 hp would be easily accomplished with the right size turbo, especially when you consider what so many people are doing on stock everything with just a tune, intake and e85.

I don't know about no one seeing it. I've heard of the car but I've never heard of the claims that its never been seen. In fact, I thought I saw a YouTube video where it was dynoed.
