Grogan has the best times published, not sure if the 335 driver is as good. On a longer track I'm also not sure of the top speed of the V8 and the TT6 but the limiter will kick in.
ps. a chipped 335 should easily beat a stock 545, even a modded one.

Make car lighter with less than 1/4 tank of race fuel. Manually fold side mirrors, less drag
(I made this up).
Most importantly be safe (take it to the track if possible). Good luck and kick ass!

Probably a draw.
You will be able to roll down your windows and talk to each other during the whole race.
(But please, don?t try it

I agree with NPE, I think it will be pretty even since he has 300hp but is 55lbs lighter, while I have 325hp...and we're def gonna have to take it to the track...don't want to risk anything...

It will be a close race. I actually wanted to get a 335i coupe, but it was a more than i could afford. After driving both cars the 335i felt very sporty and the power was always at your foot. The 545i on the other hand had that power but it was much smoother, not as rough as the 335i. In 3 years or so i plan on selling the 545i and getting a 335i or M3, depending on how i am financially(sp?).
A straight road 3 mile race is no fun at all
I mean you've got a BMW that is suppose to handle, so unless you can "corner" the race isn't very much fun IMHO. Everyone can go fast going straight. Take it to the track by the way.
